Tessa is a rising 7th grader at St. Matthews Episcopal School. She has taken many courses in the STEM field and has developed a passion for art and technology. Her interest in STEM started when she had the privilege to take a Web Development course with Kode with Klossy. She is currently taking a Mobile App Development class with them. She is excited to spark interest in STEM education among the youth in the community as an Innoverge Regional Director. During her free time, Tessa likes to swim, code, play the piano, and make digital art!
Isabelle Nguyen

Isabelle is a student at Stanford Online High School who believes in the empowerment of knowledge. She is a dedicated english and philosophy student who is enthusiastic about spreading the love for STEMx to others. Isabelle also enjoys creative writing, lightsaber dueling, hip-hop, and explosive science experiments in her backyard.
Ishan Bansal

Ishan Bansal is a junior in Arizona primarily interested in computer science and engineering. He has been teaching students how to code both inside of school and outside of school for 5+ years and is hoping to expand this to other communities as well through Innoverge. In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis, doing coding projects, and spending time with friends and family.

Ellie is a junior at Redlands High School in Redlands, CA. She enjoys taking physics and math courses in school, and can often be found doing Science Olympiad with her friends. Some of her hobbies include running varsity cross country, reading, gaming, and playing chess. Ellie’s dream is to work in aerospace engineering, and hopes to contribute in the creation and improvement of autonomous aerial vehicles. Through the Innoverge program, Ellie hopes to spread her interest in STEM to low income families and fellow girls.

Aarushi Kulkarni is a senior from San Jose, California. She found her passion in STEM and technology during early high school and had the opportunities to explore these interests. Throughout high school her desire to study engineering developed, and she became increasingly passionate about to making the field more inclusive for women and bridging the gender gap in computer science/computer engineering through Innoverge. In her free time, she enjoys painting, listening to music, and driving around with friends.

Yajat is a junior at Irvington High School in Fremont, California and has been involved in STEM since elementary school. He is mainly interested in computer science and has taught programming to children at nonprofits and after-school summer camps for over 4 years. He hopes to improve his community by sharing the knowledge he has accumulated over the years with the younger generation. His hobbies include playing table tennis and video games.

Nikhil Sarda is a sophomore in Ardrey Kell High School. Nikhil is deeply interested in STEM, especially solving problems related to STEM using technology. Nikhil enjoys photography, football, and hanging out with his friends in his free time. Nikhil has volunteered at many places dealing with STEM programs and has helped many kids understand STEM. Nikhil hopes to use Innoverge to continue helping kids understand STEM and how STEM can be used to solve everyday problems.

Veda Dayananda is a senior at East Mecklenburg High School in Charlotte, North Carolina. She is passionate about neuroscience and genomics, having conducted research in both topics, and she aspires to pursue a career in neurosurgery. Through Innoverge, Veda hopes to promote diversity in STEM by increasing accessibility to STEM opportunities for underprivileged youth in her community. Veda enjoys baking, reading, painting, and playing tennis in her free time.

Shriya is a junior at Acton-Boxborough Regional High School in Acton, Massachusetts. She is passionate about the STEM world, focusing specifically on medical research in autoimmune diseases and life sciences. She is the leader of the research club at her school and hopes to elevate the science experience for her and others through hands-on mentoring. Apart from the classroom environment, she loves to volunteer at her local hospital, play violin in various orchestras around her town, and go on bike rides with her family and friends. Shriya’s goal is to provide her community with easier access to STEM courses in order to help immerse kids in vast and new areas of knowledge!

Mitchell is a sophomore at Trumbull High School in Trumbull, Connecticut. He is very passionate about STEM, taking science, math, and technology courses at the highest level. Mitchell has an enthusiasm to help other people, and is frequently involved in community service, including tutoring. Mitchell believes that Innoverge is the perfect way to expand his love of STEM to everyone in his community, no matter where they stand. In his free time, Mitchell enjoys playing basketball and doing track, hanging out with his friends, and reading.

Jonathan (Jonny) is the creator of “Dig It With Jonny” a multimedia platform providing free science education for preschoolers through educational videos and podcasts. He teaches a monthly in-person science class for children with special needs through Circle of Friends. He is a competitive rower at the Saugatuck Rowing Club. Jonny is a sophomore at Staples High School in Westport, CT where he serves as a member of the Staples STEM Journal. As a part of Innoverge, Jonny is excited to expand opportunities for science research and exploration to undeserved communities, including children with disabilities.

Veronica is a senior at Beachwood High School in Cleveland, Ohio. She’s interested in becoming either a chemical or biomedical engineer. She enjoys playing varsity girls basketball, figure skating, and serving as her school’s pre-medical club president. She also runs her own small crochet company via Instagram and TikTok. Through Innoverge, Veronica hopes to get more girls involved bringing STEM oriented activities to their community.

Micaiah is a junior at Jones College Prep Chicago, IL. She’s been passionate about STEM under the guidance of her engineer mother her entire life. Micaiah joined Innoverge hoping to help the education crisis in minority areas in Chicago. In the future, Micaiah would like to become an engineer or lawyer. She’s been passionate about STEM and is excited to have a Chicago chapter for STEMxHumanities to represent the underrepresented youths in her community!

Jacob Condrell is a junior in high school in Chicago, Illinois. He has a passion for all science topics with his favorite being chemistry. In his free time, he can be found all over the place whether it’s golfing, biking with friends, or playing music. He recognizes the importance of organizations like Innoverge that give many opportunities people wouldn’t get otherwise. Jacob hopes to contribute his knowledge and to help as many people as he can while getting his community involved as well.

My name is Laila, I’m a Junior and I go to school in Chicago, IL. In my free time, I love reading, cooking, exploring my city, and listening to music! I wanted to become apart of Innoverge because I am passionate about building the outreach of computer science to communities that don’t have the resources to access this field, and building that bridge seemed like a good way of empowering youth in Chicago.
Santoshi Yadagiri

Santoshi Yadagiri is a junior at Plainfield North High School in Plainfield, IL. She is extremely interested in STEM, particularly computer science and aspires to pursue a career in it. She is even in the process of developing her own app and she enjoys the coding aspect of it. Through Innoverge, Santoshi hopes to increase accessibility to STEM opportunities for underprivileged children and also hopes to inspire young people to pursue careers in STEM. Santoshi enjoys playing tennis, coding, reading, and drawing in her free time.
Muskan Singh

Muskan Singh is a sophomore at The Blake School in Minneapolis. She is passionate about STEM education in Minnesota. She loves coding and was involved in creating an app for kids with autism through Technovation Girls. Muskan enjoys math and has volunteered for tutoring younger kids in all subjects. Her goal with Innoverge is to make STEM exciting and accessible for all kids, and increase the participation of girls in STEM related fields.

Nandhana Kamalabaskaran is a senior at Round Rock High School. Through Innoverge she hopes to share her passion for STEM with underrepresented groups in her community. Since sophomore year, Nandhana has been a part of Computer Science UIL and is also Co-Founder of US National Chemistry Olympiad at her school. She has also volunteered with GirlStart and other STEM organizations in an effort to inspire young girls interested in pursuing a career in STEM. Outside of school, Nandhana enjoys playing the violin with her school orchestra and teaching younger students at her Taekwondo school through the Legacy program.

Aiden Suhartono is an aspiring dentist who is currently a senior at Seven Lakes High School. He’s part of the marching band at his school, and he lived in Singapore in late 2021 and early 2022. Aiden has been a part of the Science Olympiad and HOSA clubs at his school, and he has also shadowed multiple dental practices during his high school career. Aiden strives to help younger individuals throughout the world to find their passions and have equal education in STEM through his actions in Innoverge.

Dikshitha Shanmugaraja is a senior at Round Rock High School. She joined Innoverge due to her enthusiasm for teaching and helping children achieve their goals and dreams. Dikshitha has always had a high interest in computer science and the medical field and hopes to become a Pediatrician to further extend her STEM and communication knowledge to benefit others. She is the founder of RRHS BestBuddies due to her encouraging passions and work to provide all children with an exciting and teachable experience. In her free time, Dikshitha enjoys learning Bharatanatyam, a classical Indian dance, and teaching children the Tamil language.

Having seen how helpful innovation can be for a loved one with a disability, Abhinav is committed to using his technical skills to increase accessibility and independence. He has explored programming, building with Arduino, and applying AI to address real-world challenges. Beyond academics, he enjoys volunteering and mentoring younger students in STEM topics. He also enjoys playing tennis and reading in his free time.

Akarsh Chittineni

Akarsh Chittineni is a highschooler from India. He is an enthusiastic activist and innovator. Akarsh founded his own non-profit at the age of 15 and his own organization at the age of 16, working towards providing equitable educational opportunities for all students. He is also a national level badminton player, international science fair winner, Tedx speaker, and youth leader.
Suhani Kashyap

Suhani Kashyap is an introverted observer and experimentalist, identified as an INET-J personality type. Her passion lies in continuous learning, embracing change, and pursuing innovation. She finds joy in devouring books, indulging in English music, nurturing plants in her garden, and exploring culinary adventures in the kitchen. Suhani is enthusiastic about connecting with like-minded individuals who inspire personal growth and help her become the best version of herself. Moreover, her fervor extends to entrepreneurship, startups, space science, and STEM fields, where she’s deeply passionate.
Lyhane Nidhamu

Lyhane is an innovator from Kenya dealing with fields in communication, agriculture and medicine. He currently leads an organization that mentors youth about STEM application for off-grid living in their rural homes at the Meru Eastern province. He is also a tech enthusiast who likes coding during his free time, playing guitar, and telling African stories.
Joseph Anyanwu

Joseph Anyanwu is from Nigeria, residing at Part Harcourt Rivers State Nigeria. He is a Higher Diploma Certificate holder in business administration from Ken Sarowiwa Polytechnic, along with being certified on computer operations, leadership skills, business and social entrepreneurship. He is a strong believer in success through hard work and dedication, finding importance in moral values and respect for other. He has always been an achiever; be it academics or professional life or sports or any other field in his life. He values being understanding, trustworthy, intelligent and kind-hearted. Joseph coaches, thinks, mentors, inspires, motivates, and loves making differences and creating long last legacy for humanitarian gesture around the world. He is excited to create an impact in his country as an Innoverge Regional Director!
Kolnyin Marek

Kolnyin Matiok Marek is a student pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology and Humanity at Upper Nile University in the Republic of South Sudan. He has a keen interest in participating in STEM Challenges as he is passionate about creating innovative solutions that improve people’s quality of life and contribute to children’s education for their future benefit. Given the challenges facing South Sudan in the areas of STEM and entrepreneurship empowerment, Kolnyin is eager to take a leadership role in fostering opportunities for enhanced STEM education in his region.
Bukenya George Willy

Willy George Bukenya comes from Uganda, In Sothern region, Lwengo district, Kyamaganda Parish. He holds diploma in computer science and a degree in Management, with certificates in Community development, Youth rehabilitation, and Child Care and Social Works. He has experience in leadership of civil society organizations background and working with youth for a long period of time. He also loves sports and community development works. As a new regional director for Uganda-Lwengo District Innoverge Chapter, he hopes to raise awareness about innovativeness, networking, and social connections to bring science, technology, and mathematics in practice into a developing country, Uganda. He is committed to ensuring underserved youth are reached and supporting the use of STEM.

Andrew is a director of Youth and Women for Opportunities Uganda (YWOU) is a non-profit, community-based organization situated in the Teso region of Eastern Uganda. Our primary mission is to provide assistance to the most vulnerable social groups in the area, enabling them to break free from poverty and achieve fulfilling lives through access to education and good health. YWOU is actively involved in a variety of initiatives, including comprehensive training programs, scholarships, and bursaries to ensure quality education, life skills and vocational training, HIV/AIDS programs, economic empowerment, family support, sports and recreational activities, and advocacy for fundamental human rights. We collaborate with local communities, governments, families, and other stakeholders in rural areas to deliver a wide range of community services that address various issues, such as education, agriculture, climate change, food security, clean water, sanitation and hygiene, poverty alleviation, and the empowerment of women. Vision: Girls, women, transgender and non-binary people are widely represented in, and empowered to thrive in and advance the STEM sector. Mission: The STEM Fund will invest in initiatives that use intersectional approaches to empower girls, women, transgender and non-binary people as changemakers in the STEM sector. Our work or projects focus on the STEM targeting group of girls, women, transgender and non-binary people STEM Fund target group: All girls and women, transgender and non-binary people, particularly from underrepresented groups and minority communities for example black, indigenous, people of colour, people with disabilities, sex workers, refugees, rural and marginalised urban communities, migrants or those who are stateless and people who face caste-based oppression.
