Executive Team

Veda Dayananda

Executive Director

Veda Dayananda is a senior at East Mecklenburg High School in Charlotte, North Carolina. She is interested in neuroscience and its intersections with ethics. Veda is passionate about equitable education; as Executive Director, she is thrilled and committed to enhancing STEM opportunities for minority youth around the world. In her spare time, she enjoys classical piano, painting, and tennis.

Thrisha Goda

External Director

Thrisha is a senior at Neuqua Valley High School and is interested in the intersection of STEM and equity. Thrisha plans to use her passion for technology and art to allow others to embrace their creativity and see STEM everywhere in their daily lives! She has recently done this by incorporating machine learning into her art and plans to continue for future projects. Thrisha is also involved with many clubs regarding women’s empowerment, coding, and UNICEF, as well as being a part of community service. In her free time, Thrisha enjoys designing graphics, looking for new projects to pursue through AI and writing short stories!

Sylvia Langer

Internal Director

Sylvia is a senior at Phillips Exeter Academy interested in molecular biology, biochemistry, and genetics, as well as their intersections with medical equity, educational equity, and economics. Growing up in a suburb of Phoenix, Arizona, she is passionate about bridging the educational gap within her community and beyond. She is involved in academic clubs and Jewish life at her school, and, outside of school, enjoys hiking, drawing, and exploring the city with friends and family.

Bella Brown

Global Affairs Director

Bella Brown, Global Affairs Director, is a junior at Walter Payton College Prep. She is the Director of Communications for the Junior Economic Club of Chicago and Vice President of her school’s Business Outlook Team, as well as being involved in her school’s Economics & Investment Team. Outside of school, she enjoys tutoring elementary students in math and furthering her own knowledge through personal finance courses. Bella is a competitive dancer, and in her free time, she loves binge-watching a good TV show and spending time with her friends and family.

Nandhana Kamalabaskaran

Public Relations Head

Nandhana is a rising senior at Round Rock High School. She is interested in computer science and wants to pursue a career in the STEM field. Through Innoverge, Nandhana hopes to share her interest and passion for STEM with other youths in her community. In her free time, Nandhana enjoys volunteering at GirlStart and other computer science organizations, practicing taekwondo, and reading.

Adele Mamedova

Public Relations Head

Adele is a junior at Phillips Exeter Academy aspiring to pursue pre-med neuroscience. She hopes to inspire young minds in STEM fields through volunteering for organizations like Epsilon Camp and Biochemistry Literacy for Kids, earning her U.S. Silver Congressional Award Medal and qualifying for the Gold. Adele has won state-level awards in Science Fair, History Day, and PF Debate. She loves to write and was a poetry mentee at the Adroit Journal, her work being recognized on the national level. Adele plays piano, tennis, and runs track. One of her favorite books is In Cold Blood, and she’s attempting to learn to crochet.

Dilnoor Riar

Education Head
Dilnoor (Noor) Riar is a high school student who exudes a love for connecting with new people and thrives in collaborative environments. She finds joy in supporting and helping others, often engaging in teaching and volunteering initiatives outside of school. She engages herself with playing golf, reading, and coding.

Sanah Iyer

Education Head

Sanah is a senior in high school in the Dallas metroplex. She is interested in computer science, especially its intersection with the humanities, and is also passionate about diversity in STEM. She has been involved in her school and local community through officer positions in multiple clubs, as well as volunteering. Additionally, she is a part of multiple organizations that emphasize gender equity and empowerment in computer science, including Kode With Klossy and NCWIT. During her free time, she loves traveling, hanging out with friends and family, reading, and working out.

Archika Dogra

Founder and Advisor

Archika is a senior at Princeton University studying computer science. As the Founder of Innoverge, she served as its Executive Director for 5 years. Currently, she actively advises the organization and is beyond excited to grow Innoverge into a powerful ecosystem of youth innovators and changemakers. For her work, Archika has been recognized as a Forbes 30 under 30 Seattle Lister, Global Teen Leader, Mars Generation 24 under 24 Leader, and WISE Learner’s Voice Fellow. In her spare time, she loves to travel, explore her Pacific Northwest roots, and play frisbee with her dog!

Aryana Suhartono

Advisor

Aryana is a junior at Rice University planning to major in Psychology and minor in Medical Humanities and Anthropology on the Pre-Health track. Previously, she served as Innoverge’s External Executive Director. She believes education is the path to shaping the lives of future generations and is excited to see how Innoverge will influence youth across the globe. Aryana is heavily involved in advocacy for social equity, in both community organizations and in research. She also enjoys food blogging and binging movies, particularly horror, in her free time.

Ilana Nguyen

Founding Member and Advisor

Ilana is a sophomore at Brown University majoring in computer science. She joined Innoverge in 2018 as a regional director and served as its Executive Director for 2 years. Currently, she is pursuing research in applying machine learning to healthcare applications and passionate about accessibility, ethics, and accountability in tech. In her free time, you can find her running, baking, biking, and volunteering in her local community.
